Independent creators, marketing teams, research journalists and internal comms groups come to us when home recording picks up room noise, echo or unstable WiFi. Companies batching several episodes in one day prefer fixed mics over scattered USB devices in meeting rooms.

We focus on spoken word, not large fiction casts. More than four simultaneous speakers needs extra planning—call 020 244 1836 if unsure. Guests from age 16 are welcome with written guardian consent as set out in terms and conditions.

How a session runs

A typical block lasts ninety minutes to three hours depending on how tight your outline is. We start with a ten-minute soundcheck: everyone hears themselves, we adjust chairs and explain when the record light is on. During the conversation the engineer adjusts gain from the control room without interrupting flow.

Coffee or phone breaks pause the recorder so editing stays clean. If you want a live promo or bumper, book time explicitly; that counts as studio time at €78 unless we agreed the episode package.

What to bring

Bring questions, outline or script on paper or tablet—we dim screens while recording. Guests with strong sibilance do better without shiny tops; noisy zippers stay in the coat rack. We provide water and headphone hygiene on site.

Send a short rundown if you want chapter markers prepared. Existing intro music or jingles should arrive as WAV; full sound design sits outside Podcast recording and belongs with mixing or external composers. See podcast audio formats for export profiles.

Delivery and file formats

Default delivery is multitrack WAV at 48 kHz, 24 bit, plus a stereo mixdown for quick upload. Basic editing trims long silences, applies light noise reduction where needed and balances spoken loudness; it is not full story restructuring or music production unless quoted separately.

We can supply publication MP3 or AAC on request with safe true-peak headroom. Platform loudness targets change—check your host before upload. Theme music you also release on streaming should go through mastering.

Turnaround and revisions

Raw files usually land on a download link within a few business days. Basic edit follows the same week when booked; mention urgent deadlines on contact. We include 2 revision rounds on edit decisions (levels, trims, export profile), not on new recording days.

Extra studio time outside the episode package bills at €78. The €295 package covers up to ninety minutes of raw audio plus standard edit; longer talks are charged transparently per extra hour or as a series deal.

Pricing and VAT

All figures on this page include 21% VAT. Hourly €78 applies to recording-only or add-on time. Episode pricing €295 covers recording up to ninety minutes raw plus the edit we normally deliver.

Net amounts for business invoicing with VAT ID are available via [email protected]. Consumers pay a 30% deposit on confirmation; free cancellation up to 7 days ahead per terms and conditions.

Not included

Full show production—research, guest booking, show notes, video edit or social clips—is outside our default scope. We do not treat Zoom as a studio replacement; hybrid plans with one remote listener are possible by arrangement.

Translations, third-party transcripts and commercial music clearance are your responsibility. Our engineer advises on levels, not legal clearance. Guest data questions: privacy policy and data processing agreement for B2B clients.

Practical notes in Noord

We are in Amsterdam-Noord at Danzigerkade 78, 1013 AP Amsterdam. Getting here: From Amsterdam Centraal, take metro line 52 (North/South) towards Noord and get off at Noorderpark. Walk about 8 minutes west along Danzigerkade; the studio is at number 78 on the waterfront. By bike from Centraal it is roughly 15 minutes via the IJ Tunnel.. Session hours follow Tuesday–Friday 10:00–20:00, Saturday 11:00–18:00. Closed Sunday and Monday.. Parking nearby is limited; bike or metro 52 to Noorderpark is often fastest.
